Birthday Buddies: Blair & James
Some may call Blair and James premature but as we are approaching their 1st birthday, we now know
they were just ahead of their time.
As the Marshall twins made their arrival 8 weeks early, at 3 lbs 15 oz and 4lbs 10 oz respectively, we are ever so grateful to the Texas Heath Dallas NICU where we all spent the first 46 days of Blair and James' life. As a first time mother who never thought she would leave the hospital after delivery without her babies by her side, it was the amazing care of the staff, nurses and physicians that reminded us that this day would come.
It did, and now the Marshall clan is on a mission to give back!
In lieu of gifts for their first birthday, Blair and James have joined THR's Birthday Buddies program and invite you make a donation on their behalf and support critically ill NICU infants like themselves. After the party, Blair and James will be able to return to the NICU for the first time to deliver the donations they have received directly to the nurses and doctors who provided their care and have care for so many just like them over the last year and years to come.
